Governor Scott Walker has approved $1,293,917 in funding for reconstruction of the primary runway, as well as installation of lighting and navigational aids at the Oconto-JD Bake Memorial Airport.

These projects are scheduled to begin spring 2017 and should be completed by September 2017.

Funds from the state, Oconto County and city of Oconto, and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will be used for this project.
