The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Southwest Region in Madison is announcing a public information meeting to discuss the pavement replacement of WIS 22 in Columbia County. The 11.5-mile corridor is located between WIS 16 in the Town of Wyocena and Columbia / Marquette County Line in the Town of Marcellon. The meeting will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at the Pardeeville Village Hall, 114 Lake Street, Pardeeville, Wisconsin.
WisDOT representatives will give a brief presentation starting at 5:30 p.m. Additional improvements include replacing the box culvert over the Fox River, paving wider shoulders, upgrading guardrail, and reconstructing curb ramps. The project is currently scheduled to begin construction in 2021.
The public is encouraged to attend the meeting to provide input and ask questions concerning this project. Exhibits showing the proposed improvements will be on display. WisDOT representatives will be available to discuss the proposed project and address questions or concerns on an individual basis.
