New all-way stop intersections added on US 141 in Brown County

Modifications at US 141/WIS 29 and US 141/County MM

Release Date: April 27

(Brown County) The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) northeast region announces intersection modifications at the intersection of US 141(Main Street) and WIS 29, and at the intersection of US 141 (Main Street) and County Road MM in the town of Ledgeview in Brown County. The current two-way stop controls have now been converted to all-way stop control at both intersections to minimize the risk of high-impact crashes.

Following installation on Wednesday, April 26, US 141 traffic will come to a full stop at both intersections. The new stop controls on US 141 will feature overhead stop signs and flashing lights. WisDOT will also have electronic message boards on US 141 for a few weeks to remind drivers of the new stop controls on the highway.
