Public meeting for WIS 60 between Muscoda and Gotham, Richland County

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) will hold a public involvement meeting to discuss the proposed design for the WIS 60 reconstruction project between WIS 80 (Muscoda) and US 14 (Gotham) in Richland County.

The open house meeting is scheduled for Thursday, August 10 from 5:30-8 p.m. at the Riverdale Elementary School (commons), 800 N. 6th Street, Muscoda. A brief presentation will be made at 5:45 p.m.

The meeting is intended to review the purpose and need for the project and gather input on the proposed improvements. Representatives from WisDOT will be on hand to answer questions and discuss with attendees. Preliminary plans include lane and shoulder widening, controlled access and speed reduction in Orion, county and local road intersection modifications, removal/relocation of blind driveways with substandard sight distances, and realignment near County Road TB.

Adjacent property owners are encouraged to attend the meeting.
