Release date: September 5, 2017
On Monday, September 18, the Beloit DMV Customer Service Center will reopen at its new location, 1900 Sutler Avenue. Service hours remain 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Monday through Friday. The move from its current site in Beloit Shopko Plaza will take place at the close of business hours, Friday, September 15.
“We’re excited to open this new site to the public and believe it will better accommodate the needs of our customers,” said Tracy Howard, SW Region manager. “This new location near the I-90 interchange and Walmart will offer greater convenience for the 3,400 customers each month who visit the Beloit DMV.”
Completing DMV related tasks online is also an option. The DMV is continually updating its online services to allow customers convenient access 24/7 to information and routine services. Renewing vehicle plates or applying for a duplicate driver license, scheduling a road test, and much more are available.
The DMV would like to remind all customers, the website www.wisconsindmv.gov -- with .gov extension -- is the official state DMV website. Others with .org and .com are not official and may have extra charges for forms or list information that is dated or incorrect.
