Meeting to summarize the planned intersection improvements including the anticipated construction staging sequencing and impacts to traffic.
February 11, 2016
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Southwest Region will hold a public involvement meeting to discuss a proposed safety improvement project at the WIS 19/Broadway Drive signalized intersection. The meeting is scheduled from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 1 at the Sun Prairie City Hall, 300 East Main Street.
The project begins approximately 500 feet east of the WIS 19/Eddington Drive intersection and ends approximately 200 feet east of the WIS 19/Pony Lane intersection in Sun Prairie. The proposed improvements include adding separate left turn lanes for eastbound and westbound vehicles on WIS 19 and updating the traffic signals to current standards. The project is scheduled for construction in 2019.
WisDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project on an individual basis. The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, provide input and ask questions concerning this project. Maps showing the proposed improvements will be on display.
