The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) will conduct a public involvement meeting to discuss the pavement replacement on WIS 11 (Monroe bypass) between County N to 3000’ east of Hiltbrand Lane in Green County.
The meeting is scheduled on Wednesday, March 2 from 5:30-7 p.m. at the Green County Justice Center, 2841 6th St, Monroe. The meeting will provide an overview of the purpose and need for the project and gather input on the proposed improvements. A brief presentation will take place at 6 p.m. The remainder of the meeting will follow an open house format. Adjacent property owners are encouraged to attend the meeting.
Some of the needs identified along this section of WIS 11 include cracked and deteriorating pavement, intersection upgrades, and repairs to the bridge decks and drainage system.
Project improvements on this section of WIS 11 are currently scheduled to occur in 2019.
