The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) will hold a public involvement meeting to discuss the reconstruction of WIS 175 (Milwaukee Street) between Church and Maple Street in Lomira. An open house meeting is scheduled from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, March 28 in the Community Room at the Lomira Municipal Building, 425 Water Street. There will be a brief presentation at 6:30pm.
The reconstruction of WIS 175 is expected to begin on April 4. WIS 175 (Milwaukee Street) will be closed between Church and Maple Street until the end of August. A detour will be posted using WIS 67, US 41, and WIS 49. Access will be maintained to properties along WIS 175 to residents, businesses, and emergency vehicles throughout the duration of the project. Local businesses on WIS 175 (Milwaukee Street) will also remain open and the public is encouraged to continue to patronize them.
The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, provide input and ask questions concerning this project. WisDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project on an individual basis.
