Project advanced to 2016 construction season
March 15, 2016
(Green Bay) The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region is announcing a construction update meeting to discuss reconditioning of 5.3 miles of WIS 54 from the WIS 54/57 interchange to the East County Line in Brown County. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 22 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the town of Scott Town Hall, 2621 Jody Drive, in New Franken. A short presentation will be made at 5:15 p.m.
The pavement along this section of WIS 54 has deteriorated and is beyond its service life.
The project is expected to begin in June and last until October of 2016. This project was advanced from an original construction year of 2017. Construction will be completed under multiple detours during the duration of the project.
The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, provide input and ask questions concerning this project. WisDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project on an individual basis.
Persons who are unable to attend the meeting can comment or ask questions by contacting WisDOT Project Manager Matthew Ternes at (920) 366-3028 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Citizens who are deaf or hard of hearing and require an interpreter may request one by contacting Mr. Ternes at least three working days prior to the meeting.
