The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) will conduct a public involvement meeting to discuss the proposed resurfacing project on Highway 154 between the west county line and Highway 23 in Sauk County.
The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 31 from 5-7 p.m. at Loganville Village Hall, 130 West Street. The objective of this meeting is to familiarize the public with the purpose and need for the project and to obtain input on the proposed improvements.
Highway 154 is cracked and rutted with numerous patches at various locations, and three bridge structures need resurfacing. Major construction items include the partial removal and replacement of the asphalt pavement, intersection improvements, earthwork, culvert repairs and replacements, structure overlays, guardrail installations and grading, curb and gutter repair and replacements, concrete sidewalk, permanent signing, and pavement marking. The project is currently scheduled for construction in 2020.
Adjacent property owners are encouraged to attend the meeting.
