Mailing complet​​ed work

Information about where completed transactions should be routed can be found in the Electronic Title and/or Registration Processing Training Resource.

Wh​​at to do:

  • Transactions completed electronically by the agent
    • Print daily bundle report
    • Prepare the completed paperwork for mailing
    • Write the last title number of the day on the yellow mailing label and place on envelope
    • All detailed steps need to be reviewed here:
      • See section 7.3 (Submitting Completed Transactions to DOT (pg. 44)) and 7.4 (Mailing Tips (pg. 45))

Do not mail any paperwork for transactions that generate an “S” title number (add lien/remove lien). Titles for these transactions must be held for 60 days, and then destroyed.

If you are processing a replacement title or repossession, print and include a copy of the inquiry record to be imaged and include the receipt signed by your customer.
