Expedited lettings

Process overview

• The expedited letting process is used for any project that requires prompt action sooner than could be accomplished through the normal letting process.
• In order to minimize disruption of the regular letting process, the project will be let within a week rather than the second week of the letting month.

Contractors interested in bidding on the project must be

• Prequalified prior to the advertisement
• All bids must be submitted electronically
• Bidders must have a digital signature certificate with Bid Express
• Current annual bid bond and certificate of insurance on file
• Bidders must request permission to bid using the on-line Proposal Request application
• Payment and performance bonds will be required
