Federal transit grant programs require award applicants to adhere to Federal Transit Administration (FTA) requirements. As stewards of public funds, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is responsible for ensuring that grant funds are used properly and that grantees comply with all of the requirements associated with receiving state and federal grant funds. WisDOT is dedicated to working with grantees to provide technical assistance and guidance in meeting the requirements listed in grant application materials and the following required compliance areas.
