WIS 29 & County VV Interchange Project - Environmental Documents

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is required by law to consider the environmental aspects of the proposed improvement of Wisconsin State Highway 29, between Shawano and Green Bay, including those aspects that may require application to the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers for the placement of fill materials into waters of the United States. A public hearing was held on the draft environmental document and comments were gathered. All comments have now been taken into consideration, and the final Environmental Report is now available.

WisDOT environmental information
WisDOT projects and construction sometimes change the natural environment around a project area. To minimize the effects of road construction and development WisDOT works to reduce change to the natural environment and leads several efforts to restore project areas.
