US 14 bridges, McCoy Road - WIS 138, Dane County
The project will replace the west bound bridge over Byrne Road. Other proposed improvements include bridge deck replacement at the WIS 138 bridge and McCoy Road bridges, bridge deck overlays at the County MM bridges, and cable guardrail installation along a segment of US 14 between Netherwood Road and Byrne Road. Crossovers will be constructed to shift traffic to allow bridge work.
- 2020 – Construction anticipated
During construction of US 14 bridge over WIS 138, eastbound and westbound US 14 traffic will travel through the roundabouts. WIS 138 will be detoured using WIS 59 to US 14 to County A to County MM into Oregon. During the crossover construction, traffic will be down to one lane each direction in off peak hours. When bridge work for the McCoy bridges and Byrne Road is taking place, traffic will be down to two lanes eastbound and one lane westbound on US 14.
