WIS 68 (200 feet east of Edgelawn Drive to 250 feet south of WIS 49 intersection), Fox lake to Waupun - Dodge County
Project overview
The project will address 9.3 miles of deteriorating pavement on WIS 68 from approximately 200 feet east of Edgelawn Drive to approximately 250 feet south of the WIS 49 intersection. This project will resurface 3.5 inches of the asphalt pavement.
Additional improvements include:
- Some curb ramp improvements at intersections within the City of Waupun
- Installation of centerline rumble strips
- Installation of asphalt safety edge on the outside shoulders
- Installation of some additional gravel on the shoulders to match the final roadway elevation
- Installation of pavement marking
Schedule
- Summer 2021 - Construction anticipated
Traffic impacts/detours
WIS 68 will be open to traffic during construction. Construction will take place during the day under a lane closure with a flagging operation.
