Eastbound WIS 29 ramp to southbound US 51 scheduled to open Tuesday, Nov. 18

Crews plan to open the new WIS 29 eastbound ramp to southbound US 51 on Tuesday, Nov. 18. Motorists can expect to encounter the following traffic impacts:

• At 9 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 17, crews will reduce WIS 29 - between 48th Avenue and Stewart Avenue - to one lane to install permanent signing and pavement marking. This lane closure will remain in place overnight. A southbound lane closure of US 51 is scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. to install guardrail and pavement marking.
• The new ramp connecting eastbound WIS 29 to southbound US 51 is scheduled to open on Tuesday, Nov. 18. After it opens, the ramp will be reduced to one lane of traffic between 28th Avenue and the Rib River.
• Crews plan to open the ramp to two lanes by the end of the day on Thursday, Nov. 20.
