Meeting will provide project information and encourage community feedback

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northwest Region is announcing a public involvement meeting to discuss pavement replacement and concrete repair on WIS 97 between Stratford and Goodrich from the South County Line to WIS 64 in Taylor County.
The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Goodrich Town Hall located at W1196 Mira Avenue, Medford, WI, 54451. The objective of this meeting is to familiarize the public with the purpose and need for the project and to obtain input on the proposed improvements. The meeting will be conducted in an open-house format.
The project includes:
- Pavement replacement
- Concrete repair in the full depth concrete areas.
- Closing WIS 97 during construction and detouring traffic.
Construction is currently scheduled for 2021.
The public is encouraged to attend the public meeting, provide input and ask questions concerning this project. There will be a variety of exhibits and maps available for review. Representatives of WisDOT will be on hand to answer questions throughout the evening, and attendees will have the option of making written or verbal comments.
