The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is conducting a public involvement meeting to discuss proposed improvements to WIS 70, between Morgan Road and US 51, in Oneida County.
The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, February 20 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Minocqua Town Hall, 415 Menominee Street, Minocqua. A brief presentation is scheduled to begin at 5:15 p.m. in the Torpy Room. The remainder of the meeting will follow an open house format.
The objective of this meeting is to familiarize the public with the purpose and need for the project, obtain input on the proposed improvements, and discuss traffic management.
Proposed improvements include a pavement resurface, curb ramp updates to meet current Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards, storm sewer work, traffic signal configuration updates and new pavement markings.
Adjacent property and business owners are encouraged to attend the meeting. The meeting facility is wheelchair accessible.
