Reminder: US 141 public meeting on Wednesday in Brown County

​Virtual meeting will review proposed improvements between County MM and Continental Drive

(Green Bay) The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region reminds the public that a US 141 Project virtual public involvement meeting will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 23. Project engineers will review proposed improvements on 2.6 miles of US 141 between County MM and Continental Drive in Brown County.

The meeting will be held via the Microsoft Teams virtual platform.

This is a resurfacing-level improvement that includes a mill and overlay of pavement, culvert repairs, beam guard replacements, pavement marking and clearing of railroad vision triangles on WisDOT right-of-way. Construction is expected in 2028 but could occur as early as 2025. Traffic impacts included a flagging operations and short-term detours.

The virtual meeting will review project limits and location, proposed scope and schedule, traffic impacts, temporary business signing information for businesses in the work zone, and various methods for the public to provide comment. Project staff will be available to answer questions.
