To invest in Wisconsin's transportation system, Governor Evers signed a
$3.6 million contract
to construct WIS 11 from
Kearney Ave to just west of WIS 32 in the City of Racine.
Work is scheduled to begin
the week of March
21st, weather
permitting. The project will wrap up in
September 2022.

Oakes is the prime contractor for the project and will
implement the following:
Project Improvements
- Remove existing roadway.
- Replace base aggregate.
- Place new concrete pavement.
- Place new concrete curb and gutter.
- New signals and lighting.
Construction is currently scheduled to begin March 23 and be complete by September 1, 2022. The schedule is dependent on favorable weather conditions and construction progress.
