Public Involvement Meeting for US 8, Little Soft Maple Creek Bridge improvement project in Rusk County

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northwest Region will hold a public involvement meeting to discuss improvements to US 8 in the town of Stubbs, Rusk County. The meeting is scheduled from 6 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at the Stubbs Town Hall located at N3305 S Hutchinson Road, Bruce, Wisconsin.

The meeting will be an informal open house. Exhibits showing the plan concepts will be on display. Project representatives will be available to discuss the project on an individual basis.

The improvement will include the structure replacement of US 8 at the crossing of the Little Soft Maple Creek. The project is currently scheduled for the 2021 construction season. US 8 will be reduced to one lane during construction using temporary signals.

The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, provide input and ask questions concerning the project. WisDOT representatives will be available to discuss the project and answer questions.
