Governor Evers approves intersection project in Adams County

WisDOT hosting construction information meeting to share details of WIS 13/21 project

To invest in Wisconsin's transportation system, Gov. Tony Evers has signed a $1.36 million contract with prime contractor James Peterson Sons, Inc. of Medford for an improvement project at the WIS 13 and WIS 21 intersection in Adams County.

Project staff will share construction details, staging, schedule, traffic impacts and other information at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 17 at Friendship Village Hall, 507 W. Lake St. This meeting is open to the public.

Construction is scheduled to start in late May and end in September.

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation project will:

  • Reconstruct the existing intersection.
  • Remove and replace islands, curb and gutter, signing, pavement marking and intersection rumble strips.
  • Remove and replace asphalt at the wayside.
