To invest in Wisconsin's transportation system, Governor Evers signed a $2.5 million contract to resurface WIS 181 (Wauwatosa Road), from Pioneer Road to WIS 60, in Ozaukee County. Work is scheduled to begin Monday, June 13. Stark Pavement Corp. is the prime contractor for the project and will implement the following:
Project Improvements
- Resurface three miles of WIS 181
- Rehabilitate drainage structures
- Replace guardrail
WIS 181 will be closed to through traffic. Access to local businesses or residences will be maintained at all times. Signed detour route follows Pioneer Road (County Road C), Granville Road (County Road Y), and WIS 60.
Construction is currently scheduled to be complete by late August. The schedule is dependent on favorable weather conditions and construction progress.
