The Marathon County Highway Department will be completing bridge maintenance work on the US 51/WIS 29 interchange next week.

From 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, June 28  through 30, crews will be using the following to complete the work:

• A single-lane closure on eastbound WIS 29 between South 28^th and Stewart avenues.
• A closure of the southbound US 51 to westbound WIS 29 ramp (Exit 191 A). During the closure, traffic will be detoured via westbound WIS 52 (Exit 192).

Motorists should drive with caution through the work zones and be alert for slow moving vehicles.
