Governor Evers approves intersection improvements at WIS 24 and 92nd Street in Milwaukee County

To invest in Wisconsin’s transportation system, Governor Evers signed a $657,000 contract to improve the intersection of Forest Home Avenue (WIS 24) and 92nd Street, in the city of Greenfield in Milwaukee County. The contractor, Payne and Dolan, Inc., is expected to start work on Monday, August 5, and finish by mid-November 2019. This schedule is weather dependent and subject to change.

Project Improvements

  • Installation of new traffic signals and lights
  • Improvements to pedestrian accommodations
  • Minor roadway resurfacing

Traffic Impacts

One lane of traffic in each direction on Forest Home Avenue will remain open at all times. Access to adjacent businesses and properties will be maintained throughout the project.
