Construction set to begin in Winneconne on Sept. 11

(Winneconne) The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region announces a public pre-construction meeting for the WIS 116/Wolf River Bridge project in the village of Winneconne, Winnebago County. The project begins on WIS 116 approximately 150 feet west of 1st Street and extends east to approximately 100 feet east of 2nd Avenue.
WIS 116/Wolf River Bridge Public Pre-Construction Meeting
- When: 7 to 8:30 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2017
- Where: Winneconne Middle School, Large Group Lecture Hall, 400 N 9th Ave., Winneconne
- Please enter through School Entrance A. The room will be on your left as you proceed straight into the building.
Project staff will discuss project scope, schedule and traffic impacts at the meeting. Engineers will also be available to explain the construction process and answer questions on a one-on-one basis. You can also visit the WIS 116 construction project website for more information.
Construction of the new Wolf River Bridge is tentatively scheduled to begin Sept. 11, 2017.
