The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) will hold a public involvement meeting to discuss preliminary plans for improvements to WIS 80 (Academy Street) between Liberty Street and WIS 82 in Elroy.
The meeting is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 25, from 5-7 p.m. at Royall High School, 1501 Academy Street, Elroy. The meeting will present preliminary design plans for the project and gather input from the public.
The project is designed to reconstruct the roadway with new sidewalks, curb & gutter, storm sewer, and pavement between Liberty Street to Kimball Avenue, and recondition the pavement between Kimball Avenue to WIS 82, along with improvements to the WIS 80/WIS 82 intersection. Construction is tentatively scheduled for 2020.
