​Meeting to discuss resurfacing project from Plymouth to Kiel

(Sheboygan/Manitowoc County) The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region announces a public involvement meeting to discuss a proposed resurfacing project on WIS 67 from the city of Plymouth in Sheboygan County to the village of Kiel in Manitowoc County.

WIS 67 Public Involvement Meeting

  • Thursday, Nov. 16, 5 to 7 p.m.
  • Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah High School cafeteria, 201 Lincoln St., Elkhart Lake
    • A short presentation will be made at 5:10 p.m., followed by an open-house format

The project limits are Suhrke Road in Plymouth to the WIS 32/57 intersection in Kiel. Work includes roadway resurfacing and/or replacement, culvert replacement, deck work on the Mullet River Bridge, and spot improvements to intersections. WIS 67 will remain open during resurfacing, but close for bridge and culvert work. Construction could take place as early as 2019.

Members of the public are encouraged to attend the meeting to review project displays and provide comment. WisDOT staff will be available to discuss the project on an individual basis.
