It’s time to pick up your favorite art supplies and share your dream to fly!

Young Wisconsin artists, ages 7 to 17, can showcase their artistic talent in the 2019 Aviation Art contest. This year’s theme is “My Dream to Fly.” Each achievement in flight has started with a dream. Artists are encouraged to draw or paint a picture to share where their imagination takes them when they look to the clouds.

Entries are judged on the creative use of the theme. Winners will be displayed in the Wisconsin State Capitol and receive a Certificate of Achievement.

The top three entries in the three different age divisions will advance to the national competition, with the potential to be entered in the international aviation art contest.

All artwork must be original and cannot be computer generated. For complete contest rules and the official entry form, visit wisconsindot.gov/artcontest. Entries must be postmarked by January 18, 2019 and mailed to:
