Public meetings scheduled for WIS 441 Tri-County Expansion Project

Construction updates and traffic impacts for 2019 construction season

(Appleton) The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region announces business and public involvement meetings have been scheduled to provide 2019 road closure, traffic impacts, and updated construction information for the WIS 441 Tri-County Expansion Project in Outagamie, Calumet and Winnebago counties. Separate meetings will be held for businesses and the public. Please note the different location for each meeting. The same information will be presented at each meeting.

WIS 441 Project morning Business Meeting for business owners
• When: Tuesday morning, March 19, 8:30 to 10 a.m.
• Where: WIS 441 Tri-County Construction Project office, W6214 Aerotech Drive, Appleton.
o Short presentation at 8:45 a.m.
WIS 441 Project evening Public Involvement Meeting
• When: Tuesday evening, March 19, 5 to 7 p.m.
• Where: UW-Fox Valley Perry Hall, 1478 Midway Road, Menasha.
o Short presentation at 5:15 p.m.

The purpose of the meetings is to provide a project update on a variety of topics including the following:
• WIS 441 Project highlights
• Remaining construction in 2019
• 2019 construction anticipated traffic impacts

Businesses and the public are encouraged to attend the meetings, ask questions and offer comments. The meeting will be held in an open-house format, and project staff will be available to discuss the projects on an individual basis. Please feel free to attend at any time during meeting hours. Brief presentations will be held near the beginning of both meetings.
