Three resurfacing projects and one reconstruction projects are scheduled along the US 63 corridor in the city of Spooner. The main objective of these projects is to address operational and pavement distresses and make select roadside and traffic operational improvement to the corridor. This is necessary to improve the safety of the highway and to address the declining level of service (LOS) that the road provides.
A reconstruction project is proposed along US 63 from WIS 70 to Poplar Street, through the City of Spooner. The reconstruction project is currently scheduled for 2021.

Three resurfacing projects are planned along the US 63 corridor through the City of Spooner. The projects are currently scheduled for execution in July 2019 after being let on May 14th.

The resurfacing projects will occur along US 63 within the following limits:
- US 63 from North Junction of County B to Green Valley Road (4.2 miles)- city of Shell Lake and towns of Bashaw and Beaver Brook
- US 63 from Green Valley Road to Greenwood Avenue (1 mile)- town of Beaver Brook and city of Spooner
- US 63 from Poplar Street to US 53 (1.5 miles)- city/town of Spooner
