WIS 44 (County P to WIS 33), Pardeeville to Marcellon - Columbia County
Project overview
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is finalizing plans for a pavement replacement project on WIS 44 in Columbia County. The 2.5 mile project is located between the County P intersection and the WIS 33 intersection in the Towns of Wyocena and Marcellon.
Proposed Improvements Include:
- 4 inch Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) surface layer
- Replacement of existing cross culverts
- 5-foot paved shoulders
- Replacement of existing pavement markings
Schedule
- Late Spring/Summer 2021 - Construction anticipated
Traffic impacts/detours
WIS 44 will remain open to local traffic with flagging operations during construction. Through traffic will be detoured using state highways.
