WIS 73 (North Street to School Street), between Deerfield and Marshall - Dane County
The purpose of this project is to improve WIS 73 between Deerfield and Marshall in Dane County. The project begins near North Street in the Village of Deerfield and extends north approximately 7.4 miles to School Street in the Village of Marshall. The existing roadway has deteriorated with extensive cracking and rutting.
Proposed roadway improvements include pavement rehabilitation and upgrading the existing guardrail to current standards. The pavement improvement will primarily consist of milling 2 to 4 inches of the asphalt pavement and replacing it with 4 inches of asphalt pavement. The signing and pavement marking will also be replaced.
