Project location
WIS 73 (Shaul Lane to North Street), Village of Deerfield - Dane County
Project overview
The purpose of this project is to improve WIS 73 in the village of Deerfield in Dane County. The project begins near Shaul Lane and extends north approximately 1.7 miles to North Street. The existing roadway has deteriorated with extensive cracking and rutting.
Proposed roadway improvements include pavement reconditioning and upgrading the curb ramps to Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards. The pavement improvement will primarily consist of resurfacing 4 inches of the asphalt pavement. Approximately 1,500 feet of distressed pavement areas will be improved.
