Silver Creek Bridge public construction information meeting in Manitowoc County

Replacement of WIS 42 bridge begins June 2022

(Manitowoc) The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northeast Region will host a live, online public construction information meeting on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 4:30 p.m. to discuss replacement of the WIS 42 bridge over Silver Creek just south of US 151 in the city of Manitowoc, Manitowoc County. Work is expected to begin after June 15, 2022. 

Project staff will share construction details, staging, schedule, traffic and detour information, and resources for businesses in the work zone. The meeting will be held via Microsoft Teams. To join the meeting:

This is a bridge replacement project and includes a full closure and detour of WIS 42 at the bridge.

The website includes maps of the project limits and locations, scope and schedule, traffic impacts, displays and exhibits. There is also temporary business signing information for businesses in the work zone and detoured portion of WIS 42.
