Ramps from and to northbound US 53 to close temporarily

Closure necessary to complete ramp pavement replacement work east of Spooner

The ramps from northbound US 53 to WIS 70 and from WIS 70 to northbound US 53 east of Spooner are expected to close to traffic at 7 a.m. Monday, May 20. The closure is anticipated to be in place for 19 days.

The closure is necessary to replace the ramp pavement, which is part of a pavement replacement project on US 53 from Wildcat Road southeast of Spooner to County A that includes replacing ramp pavement at the WIS 70 and US 63 interchanges.

​Motorists are reminded that using handheld cell phones in Wisconsin work zones is illegal. Alerts and updates provided via these sites are not intended for use while driving. When driving, your focus should always be on driving.
