The state of Wisconsin revoked the motor vehicle dealer license for Universal Auto LLC, 4615 Douglas Ave., Racine, for failing to properly follow administrative requirements. The order, issued by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation's Division of Motor Vehicles, determined that Universal Auto violated state law when they failed to maintain business facilities.
Universal Auto's license is revoked effective May 25, 2024. Since dealers are given 30 days to appeal, and no appeals were received, the decision is final.
WisDOT's Dealer and Agent Section licenses, regulates, and resolves disputes about dealership sales and warranty repairs. It also investigates complaints about odometer tampering and title fraud involving dealerships and private sellers.
