Closed between Meyers and Happy Hollow roads because of a culvert failure last week, WIS 13 northeast of Cornucopia in northern Bayfield County reopened to traffic this afternoon.
Crews from the Bayfield and Ashland County Highway Departments worked through the weekend to replace the deep culvert pipe, and the roadway and shoulders were paved today.
Motorists are reminded that using handheld cell phones in Wisconsin work zones is illegal. Alerts and updates provided via these sites are not intended for use while driving. When driving, your focus should always be on driving.
