Governor Evers approves WIS 167 and Maple Road intersection improvement project in Washington County

To invest in Wisconsin’s transportation system, Governor Evers has approved a $1.14 million intersection improvement project at WIS 167 (Lannon Road) and Maple Road in the village of Germantown, Washington County. Vinton Construction Company is the prime contractor for the project. Construction is scheduled to begin July 1.   

Improvements include:
  • Construction of designated right turn lane:
    • From eastbound WIS 167 (Lannon Road) to southbound Maple Road
  • Traffic flow improvements to right turn lanes: 
    • From southbound Maple Road to westbound WIS 167 (Lannon Road)
    • From northbound Maple Road to eastbound WIS 167 (Lannon Road)
  • New signals.
  • New pavement marking and signing.
  • Curb ramp and gutter improvements.
Traffic Impacts:
  • Access will be maintained throughout the intersection during construction.​
Work is scheduled for completion by the end of 2024. All work is weather dependent and subject to change.
