US 8, from North Rifle Road to WIS 47/US 8 Roundabout in Rhinelander, Oneida County
Overview
The project includes replacing the pavement in both the eastbound and westbound lanes of US 8 between North Rifle Road and the US 8/WIS 47 Roundabout in Rhinelander, Oneida County. Additional work will include the removal or replacement of the railroad crossing between Lakeshore Lane. and Airport Road, replacement of failing curb and gutter, and repairs of existing storm sewer system.
Traffic Impacts
During construction, traffic will be reduced to a bi-directional, single lane in either the eastbound or westbound lanes. Access to businesses, side roads, and driveways will be maintained during construction.
