Location
The bridge that carries 50th Avenue over US 53 in the Chippewa County town of Hallie.
Overview
Built in 1969, the bridge is showing signs of deterioration. To address this, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation plans to:
- Replace the deck.
- Repair the concrete surface on the bridge abutments.
- Complete asphalt pavement approach work.
- Replace guardrail.
Schedule
Construction currently is scheduled for 2028.
Traffic Impacts
During construction, 50th Avenue will be closed at the bridge.
