Overview
This proposed project will make improvements to approximately 1.14 miles of WIS 164, from about 0.5 miles south of Fond Du Lac Drive to WIS 60 near the town of Slinger, Washington County.
Proposed Improvements
The primary purpose of this proposed project is to address the deteriorating pavement conditions and ride quality along the stretch of WIS 164. Improvements include:
- Resurface approximately 1.14 miles of WIS 164
- Resurface Foxboro Lane between WIS 164 and WIS 175
- Replace beam guards at four bridge approaches along the corridor
- Repair and clean culvert pipes
- Place deer fencing on the west side of WIS 164 between the two bridges
- Minor bridge maintenance
- New pavement marking
Traffic Impacts
Potential traffic impacts are still being evaluated.
No real estate acquisitions are currently anticipated with the project.
Schedule
Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in 2027.
