Overview
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is proposing to replace the pavement for approximately 1 mile of WIS 32 in Kenosha County. The purpose of this project is to address deteriorating pavement condition, outdated traffic signal equipment, and ride quality. Proposed improvements include:
- Replacement of existing pavement.
- Replacement of signal equipment at WIS 32 intersections with 75th Street, 63rd Street, and 60th Street
- Rehabilitation of all existing curb ramps and sidewalk to meet current standards
- Where necessary, improve City sanitary sewer, water main, and storm sewer infrastructure
Schedule
This project is currently in design. Construction is tentatively scheduled for 2032.
Traffic Impacts
WIS 32 will remain accessible to through-traffic throughout the entirety of construction. Access to local residences and businesses will be maintained.
