Overview
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is proposing to resurface approximately 3.75 miles of WIS 67, from S. Main Street to Theatre Road, in Walworth County. The project will provide long-term improvements to the pavement, operation, and safety of the roadway.
Proposed Improvements
- Resurface WIS 67 within project limits.
- Replace pedestrian curb ramps.
- Repair three (3) box culverts.
- Construct a shared-use path from S. Main Street to Dewey Avenue to provide continuous bike and pedestrian accommodations.
- Alternative 1: Construct path along the northwest side of WIS 67. Path would include right-of-way from Fontana Fen Park and St. Benedict Catholic Church.
- Alternative 2: Construct path along southeast side of WIS 67. Construction may require retaining walls due to steep existing slopes. Path would involve crossing WIS 67 twice, at Main Street and Dewey Avenue.

Construction is tentatively scheduled to begin in 2027.
