US 151 (US 61/County HH to West Mound Road), Dickeyville to Belmont - Grant County
Project overview
The purpose of this project is to maintain connectivity along US 151, including local and country road interchanges. The primary work for the proposed project is located along a 14.8-mile segment of US 151 and will address deterioration of the concrete pavement of the road and shoulders. Numerous bridge approaches will be repaired or replaced along the segment of road in addition to removal and replacement of existing beam guards.
The mainline road surface improvement will involve a combination of full depth concrete repair and replacement. Where concrete pavement is not replaced, cracks will be sealed. Shoulders and turn lanes will be resurfaced with partial depth mill and overlay with locations receiving full asphalt replacement. Intersections will be base patched or resurfaced with mill and overlay depending on repair needed. Bridge approaches will be raised, repaired or redone. All repairs are necessary to treat shattered panels, faulting, punch-out's, spalling and joint deterioration of the pavement surface.
Guardrail will be replaced throughout the entire length of the project. Grading of the shoulders and side slopes will occur only in the areas where guardrail is being improved.

Traffic impacts/detours
- US 151 will be constructed under single lane closures in both directions.
- Flagging and single lane closures will take place on crossroads.
- There will be temporary ramp closures.
- Single lane closures will take place on the US 61, County D, WIS 80 and County XX interchanges with detours around the closures.
