US 53 bridge over Black River, between La Crosse and Galesville - La Crosse & Trempealeau Counties
Project overview
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) plans to improve US 53 bridge structure that spans over the Black River. An overlay will be conducted, drainage updates will be made, as well as other structure work.
Schedule
- 2021 - Construction anticipated
Traffic impacts/detours
The bridge will remain open with temporary barriers and occasional flagging operations.
