Project location
US 53, Beaver Creek to WIS 95, Galesville to Whitehall, in Trempealeau County.
Project overview
This is a highway resurfacing project between Beaver Creek and the WIS 95 intersection and includes widening the paved shoulders. Other work will address beam guard, culverts, asphalt overlay on bridge structures, pavement markings and install rumble strips.
Schedule
Construction currently is scheduled for 2029.
- Construction could occur in 2026 if funding becomes available.
Traffic impacts
The highway is expected to remain open using flagging operations during construction.
