WIS 81 and Milwaukee Road intersection, Beloit - Rock County
Project overview
The purpose of this project is to improve safety at the intersection of WIS 81 (White Ave) and Milwaukee Road in Beloit. The proposed improvements include a reconstruction of the intersection with a roundabout.
Schedule
- January 30, 2025 - Local officials meeting
- February 20, 2025 - Public involvement meeting
- August 2027 - Final plans complete
- Summer 2028 - Construction anticipated
Traffic impacts/detours
Traffic will be staged during construction of the roundabout. Lane closures and short term detour routes may be used.
