Location: Southeast Wisconsin, Fond du Lac County. The River Drive route in the town of Ashford is situated between WIS 67 in the north and County W in the south.

R-82 is comprised of five roads: River, Spring, Rolling, Cloverland and Katzenburg. This route takes travelers through wetlands, rolling hills, old-growth wooded areas and scenic agricultural areas.
